The bottom image is the origonal Mondriaan. The top image was created using CSS-Grid. CSS-Grid is a game changer. It allows quick page prototyping. No longer is a front-end developer dependant on "float-left and hope".
Each of the colored (and white) panels can be made selectable and used to link to hrefs.
